Wallah Re Wallah

Katrina will soon play the role of Radha

Katrina Kaif might not have experimented much as far as her choice of roles goes but now the stunner is set to change all that. Believe it or not, but Katrina will soon play the role of Radha in a film on the life of Lord Krishna. Titled Main Krishna Hoon, the film will have Katrina in a cameo.

Revolving around the life of Lord Krishna, starting from his childhood ‘leelas’ up to adulthood, the film will be directed by Rajiv S Ruia. Ruia is known for directing ‘My Friend Ganesha’

Confirming the news, Katrina says, “Let it be a secret. But yes, I am doing this film on the life of Lord Krishna because my hairstylist Promila Hunter is producing the film. When she asked me if I would make an appearance I didn’t even ask her what my role was. Only later did I get to know that it is a film on the life of Lord Krishna.”

And even though it’s only a guest appearance, Katrina is making sure she gets into the skin of the character. Currently shooting in Patiala for a Yash Raj film, Kat is using her free time to read up on the life of Lord Krishna.

Talking about the film, Katrina said, “It always helps to know about areas of culture that you haven’t visited. A role could just be an excuse to brush up your knowledge of life outside the entertainment industry.”

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif Say Wallah Re Wallah Together On The Sets of Tees Maar Khan

he song has Akshay and Salman fighting over Katrina, but the duo was like a pair of schoolboys let loose on a night out. They took off with each other and in the middle of a shot, suddenly, whipped off their scarves and broke into Salman’s trademark ‘towel’ dance from Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004) that Farah had choreographed too. And ended with them flinging their scarves at Katrina.

Bipasha Basu, who sported a 1950s style dress, seemed excited about the whole idea of being a part of the charity show.

"Salman is doing a fantastic work for the underprivileged children. We are all here to support that and actually had a lot of fun because the sequence created was fabulous and I think the stylist Anaita Shroff did a fabulous job and also Alvira did the show very well and revisiting 1950s was fun for me," said Basu.

Actress Priyanka Chopra enjoyed the theme of the show and appreciated the noble cause 'Being Human' does for the underprivileged children.

"An organization being human is basically for humanity and nobody would say no for such a good cause. Anybody who believes in giving would do something like that" said Chopra.
