The last time Katrina Kaif openly reacted to a controversy was when her bikini pics were leaked by a leading magazine. The news had spread like fire and a rather furious Kat had also released a open letter stating how it’s totally unethical to snap someone without their notice. Now, the actress is yet again back to the ‘attention seeking’ space. However this time, she decided to take a potshot at those actors, who purposely indulge in ‘attention seeking tactics’ Yes! During her recent interaction with a leading daily, Ranbir’s girl made a suspicious confession stating, “I would never unnecessarily indulge in any kind of attention seeking tactics. It is something that annoys me about some celebrities.” Well, who is she hinting at? Is it her favourite rival Deepika Padukone? Like you know, Dippy had grabbed headlines not once but twice! Her infamous cleavage controversy was the first one to brag a heated controversy. Following which, she then added another story by confessing her depression phase. You definitely need guts to voice out about such sensitive issues. But on the flip side, the same has also been criticised as a ‘publicity gimmick’. We wonder if Katrina too has joined the troop.. Our theory might be wrong. So we want you guys to tell us, is Kat really taking a dig at Deepika?

Katrina gets more dangerous than Aamir Khan

Cutting short her planned family holiday in London with her mom and sisters, Katrina flew back to Mumbai on Tuesday to practice for some additional action sequences in Dhoom 3. Yes, Katrina Kaif's stunts in Dhoom 3 just got more ominous and dangerous. We hear the Yashraj team watched her super-smooth kicks and flips with Salman Khan in Ek Tha Tiger, and decided to give a substantial fillip to Katrina's action quotient in Dhoom 3.
We now hear in Dhoom 3 she will perform the most dangerous stunts ever by a leading lady in Yashraj film. Says a source close to the project, "If you look at the other Dhoom films the ladies Esha Deol, Bipasha Basu and Aishwarya Rai had no real stunts to perform. In Dhoom 3 Katrina was given at least 3 major action sequences for which she was to be specially trained. Now after Tiger Yashraj is adding a couple of more action sequences which would be managed by a fleet of action co-ordinators."

Interestingly Aamir Khan who plays Katrina's soul-mate in Dhoom 3 doesn't have that many action sequences. "He plays a cool cerebral villain, more into the intellect than fists. Yes, he does have some major stunts. But Katrina plays the more fist-friendly character. And Dhoom 3 would be her first full-fledged action role. Though she plays an aggressive character in Ek Tha Tiger she wasn't allowed to do any really daring stunt scenes," says our source.

Apparently Salman watched over Katrina's derring-do quotient in Ek Tha Tiger and told her to "take it easy", even "whispered" to the international directors to "make it easy". Says our source, "Katrina always wanted to do a full-on high-voltage action film with no body doubles. In Tigershe could only get halfway there. In Dhoom 3 she has just been provided with even more scope for the hi-jinks."

We hear the stunts for Katrina in Dhoom 3 would be on a par with Uma Thurman's power-packed flips and somersaults in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill. The actress has been on a no-fat diet in London to get into the required shape. She flies back this week ready to kick some serious ass.

Katrina Kaif Charity Work

Leading Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has been actively participating in charity works for the past few years – along with her mother Suzanne, who supports the charitable organization Relief Projects India and Mercy Home.

The actress has given some of her much admired attires, accessories and personal belongings for auction in Chennai to help her mother’s Mercy Home set up a prenatal care centre.

Katrina will also record a Hindi nursery rhymes album — composed by the Oscar winning music composer A. R. Rahman — proceeds from which will go to Suzanne’s orphanage, Mercy Home. The album is scheduled to release next year.

All the cheques from Katrina’s various appearances on Indian TV shows – such as 10 Ka Dum and Kaun Banega Crorepati 3 – have been donated to her mother’s orphanage for purchase of ambulances.

" My mom is always involved with charity for women. And I’m happy to help. It lets me give something back to society," Katrina has been quoted in the local press.
